Gymnastics: Potomac Falls SR Lily Hardman to Compete at Iowa State

(May 22, 2013) - Lily Hardman, a senior at Potomac Falls High School, and Level 10 gymnast, has committed to Iowa State University to compete for their NCAA Divsion I gymnastics team.


Hardman began her gymnastics training at the age of 5 at NVGA in Loudoun County, before switching to Capital Gymnastics National Training Center in Burke to train under U.S National team coach Tatiana Perskai and her coaching staff, Alex Vorobyov, Marina Gerom and Victor Vetrov.

Over the course of her J.O career Hardman has competed at the State, Regional and National level, twice representing her Region at Nationals.

Despite a rigorous 25 hour a week training schedule, Hardman has maintained a near 4.0 GPA at Potomac Falls High School, with a full slate of Honors and AP classes.
