(May 17, 2013) - You can help support the Loudoun Museum and enjoy a summer evening in a lovely setting at the Secret Garden Party which takes place June 1 at beautiful Little Oatlands, a private residence approximately six miles south of Leesburg, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
And the really good news is that ticket prices are now reduced at $25 each or two for $40 until May 27. After that the price is $35 per ticket. They may be ordered online at: www.loudounmuseum.org.
This special event will feature wine and tea tastings, raffles and a silent auction. Guests will enjoy live music in a historic setting surrounded by glorious gardens. Each guest also will receive a wine glass and a ticket to be entered in a special grand prize drawing.
Little Oatlands has a distinguished history. The home and guesthouse date back to 1762. Originally part of the 3,408-acre Oatlands Plantation, it was home to George Carter while the mansion at Oatlands was being built in 1804.
