(May 3, 2013) - Heritage High School senior Breana Smart will be taking her basketball game to NCAA Division III Lynchburg College, according to Pride head coach coach Robert Smart.
Although coach Smart said that Breana had some Division II interests, after meeting Coach Pyzik and the team and visiting the Hornets campus, she decided to call Lynchburg home.
Pyzik and the Lynchburg Hornets made history this season by advancing to the ODAC Semifinals. They bring a strong and very talented team back to compete for the ODAC title with the loss of one senior.
Coach Smart: "Breana is a part of a very talented recruiting class that hopes to contribute to the Hornets success this season. The Ladies of the Pride would like to thank Breana for a very exciting four years and we wish her the best of luck."
