News: Shooting in Sterling Sunday Sends One to Hospital with Multiple Wounds

(Dec. 17, 20212) - The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting at a residence in the 20 block of Gannon Way in Sterling, Virginia.

Deputies responded to the residence around 4:40 p.m. on December 16th and discovered a 22-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. At this point in the investigation it is believed there were two suspects who fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement. It is believed the suspects were known to the victim and it appears the victim was targeted. The shooting does not appear to be a random act.


The victim was airlifted from the scene to a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
