News: Armed Bandit in Mask and Florida State Hoodie Hits Sterling Bank

(Dec. 13, 2012) - The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed bank robbery in the Community Plaza in Sterling that took place this morning.

ID this masked bank robber

The suspect entered the Wells Fargo bank around 10:20 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012, brandished a firearm and demanded cash. The suspect is described as a male and was wearing a mask and a maroon Florida State sweatshirt at the time of the robbery. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
