News: April Showers Postpone the Majority of Games Tuesday

(Apr. 5, 2011) - The 2011 rainy spring continues with more postponements for Tuesday. Please check with your school before going out to a game tonight. Here are postponements reported to VivaLoudoun as of 3 p.m.:

Briar Woods:
JV baseball vs. Heritage is postponed

Broad Run:
Today's games vs Loudoun County have been postponed until Thursday.
Boys' Soccer will play @ LC 4/7 at 6:45 & 8:15
Baseball & Softball will play @ LC at 6pm
Varsity Girls Soccer will play Wed. 4/13 following the track meet at Broad Run. JV's will be made up at a later time.

Dominion:
Girls JV and varsity soccer at Potomac Falls postponed until May 4th.
Boys JV and varsity soccer vs. Potomac Falls postponed until May 4th
Varsity softball vs. Potomac Falls postponed until April 7th
JV and varsity baseball vs. Potomac Falls postponed until April 7th
Girls varsity tennis at Potomac Falls postponed until April 8th

Athletic Changes for Tuesday, April 5:
Boys Tennis vs. Park View is on as scheduled for today.
Girls Tennis @ Park View is on as scheduled for today. The team has an early dismissal at 3:15pm.
Varsity Baseball and Softball vs. Park View have been moved to tomorrow, April 6 at Freedom at 6pm.
JV and Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Park View have been moved to tomorrow, April 6 at Freedom at 6 and 7:30pm.
JV Girls Soccer at Park View is postponed. Reschedule date TBA.
Varsity Girls Soccer at Park View has been moved to tomorrow, April 6 at Park View. Start time is approximately 8pm or immediately after the track meet at Park View.
JV Softball at Broad Run has been moved to Thursday, 4/14 at Broad Run at 6pm

Heritage:
All games today postponed.
Boys soccer vs. Kettle Run will be made up May 4th
Girls soccer vs. Kettle Run is TBA
Boys and girls tennis vs. Kettle Run is now April 29th

Loudoun County:
Baseball and Softball Games: We have moved todays games to Thursday 4/7 at the same times and locations. Softball's regularly scheduled game with LVHS on 4/7 has been moved to Wednesday 4/13 to accomplish this.
Soccer Games:
We have moved the boy's soccer games at LCHS to Thursday 4/7. They would follow a Varsity Girl's Lax match (to be moved to 5:30pm). JV start time will be listed at 6:45pm and the Varsity at 8:15pm. I say "listed" because they will IMMEDIATELY follow the Lax game.
Girls Soccer is moved to Wednesday 4/13 at BRHS...VARSITY ONLY...and will follow a Track meet at BRHS, and will start at 8pm. JV will be rescheduled TBD.

Loudoun Valley:
Update 4/5/11 @ 2pm
Softball originally scheduled for Thursday April 7 (Loudoun County) has been rescheduled for Wednesday April 13 (5pm @LVHS)
Girls Tennis vs Heritage (4-12-11) has been changed to 4-15-11 (@Heritage)

Girls Soccer will be moved to tmrw - but it will be a Varsity only at home at 8pm. We are hosting a track meet that will end at 7:30/7:45pm and the girls Varsity soccer will start after that. All warm-ups will be done on the practice field and then we will play. The JV girls soccer game make up is TBA.
The tennis match today vs Freedom is still on - a final decision will be made between 1pm and 2pm today.
