Baseball: Potomac Falls to Host "Don Malan Night" on April 8

(Apr. 5, 2011) - The Potomac Falls High School baseball program is hosting "Don Malan Night" on Friday, April 8 before the Panthers home game against Woodgrove. The late Don Malan, father of Potomac Falls graduates and former athletes, Robbie, David and Lauren, is being honored for his dedication and committment to PFalls baseball program.

Malan was diagnosed in March 2010 with an aggressive brain tumour and died eight months later in November.  Paanther baseball coach Joe Terango and the 2011 team are dedicating the season to Malan's memory and will be giving the Malan family on Friday a memento of remembrance on behalf of Panther baseball and the Potomac Falls Athletic Boosters, as well as the unveiling of a "special" addition to Panther Park.
