The Skinny: Vikes win district opener with Sam Adams holding the Eagles to one run over five innings. Kara Kovach closed out the win. Offensively, Jamie Crisp doubled home Shelby Gibson to start the scoring in the first. Aggressive baserunning led to both Crisp and Katlyn Latka scoring.

Crisp doubled in two runs in the second and finished with four RBIs on the night. In the third, Latka tripled in two runs and in the fourth, Dani Psimass doubled in two.

Defensively for the Vikes, Cassandra LaFonte at second base turned a double play by tagging the lead runner out and then throwing to first base Psimass.
