(Jan. 2, 2010) - The polls are now open to select the VivaLoudoun Team of 2010 and Loudoun fans have seven state champions to choose from including some historic firsts as well as some repeat champions.
In the repeat category, there are four teams with the Briar Woods cheer -- named out 2009 Team of the Year -- winning a second straight title as did the Freedom girls basketball. Broad Run girls soccer won a third straight title and Loudoun County girls volleyball won a fourth straight title.
The Potomac Falls boys basketball team became the first boys team to ever bring home a state hoops title to Loudoun. Briar Woods football won the school's first ever state football title and the Stone Bridge girls soccer team won a state title as well.
Polls will be open until Jan. 15. The winning team will be featured in a photo spread by VivaLoudoun.com.
