The Skinny: Myles Tate scored 21 points and Matt Rolin added 18 as Falcons improved to 6-6 on the season with a non-district win.
Broad Run 83, Loudoun County 74

Potomac Falls 80, Dominion 59
The Skinny: The Panthers remained perfect on the year with Lukas Mihailovich scoring 17 and Brendan Chesson adding 16.
Park View 59, Freedom 52
The Skinny: Ryan McCarter leads Patriots to win with 19 points.
Stonewall Jackson 64, Heritage 39
The Skinny: Pride fall in Cedar Run District opener.
Loudoun Valley 54, Battlefield 52
The Skinny: John Yoxthimer had 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists, Ben Walker added 9 points, Nick Robinson had 4 steals. The Vikings improve to 6-6 overall and 1-1 in the Cedar Run.
Woodgrove 71, Tuscarora 58
The Skinny: The Wolverines defeated the Huskies to improve to 6-4 overall and 2-3 in the district. The Wolverines were led by Brad Gilson with a double-double of 42 points and 13 rebounds. The Huskies cut the lead to 4 points with 5 minutes left in the game but the Wolverines pulled away by going 11 for 13 from the free throw line during the final minutes to secure the victory. The Wolverines travel to defending state champions Potomac Falls on Friday.

Girls Basketball
Loudoun County 71, Broad Run 49
The Skinny: Brittany Batts leads Raiders with 23 and Casey Cummings adds 17. Ellie Ferguson has a game-high 25 for Spartans.
Potomac Falls 38, Dominion 33
The Skinny: It was a back and forth game with neither team leading by more than three points until late. Dominion battled hard all night and had a three point lead into the fourth quarter. Down the stretch the Panthers were able to handle Dominion's pressure and make free throws. Imani Jefferies got a big offensive rebound off of a missed free throw and scored with less than 30 seconds for the final margin. Potomac Falls was led by Rebecca Perez with 16 points including 10 of 13 from the foul line and Teal Reynolds with 9 points. The Panthers front court did a great job on the boards with three players having double digit rebounding nights, Jefferies with 12, Patricia Mook with 11 and Anna Mueller with 10.
Freedom 49, Park View 38
The Skinny: Eagles stop four-game slide. Dionna Scott scores almost half of Freedom's points with 23. Christina Sheppard leads Pats with 17.
Stonewall Jackson 84, Heritage 31
The Skinny: The Raiders had five players in double figures in the win.
Loudoun Valley 53, Battlefield 51
The Skinny: Vikes recover from 21-4 deficit to improve to 2-0 in Cedar Run District. Kelsey Luck had 15 points and Jaimie Gutch scoreds 14 with 15 rebounds and five steals.
Woodgrove 47, Tuscarora 31
The Skinny: Wolverines win first ever Dulles District contest. Sarah Hardison led the Wolverines with a double double (16 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals;) Brittany Basinger had 5 points, 3 rebounds and 4 steals; Ashley Tilly had 4 points, 3 steals and 2 assists; Linsey Fagan 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists; Taylor Miller 4 points and 6 Rebounds, Stephanie Purnell with 2 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Coach Kevin Copley said it was a great team effort for Woodgrove.
