Park View: Hall of Fame Class for 2013 Announced - Keith Ball, Chris Graham and Renee Lettington

(May 22, 2013) - Park View High School announced that the Patriots Hall of Fame Class for 2013 includes a trio of talented athletes; Keith Ball (1978-83), Chris Graham (1979-83) and Renee Lettington (1992-96).

This class will be formally inducted at the Park View vs Manassas Park football game on September 6, 2013. A reception to honor the inductees, their families and friends will begin at 5 pm in the Hall of Fame foyer.

Purcellville (Oct. 2, 2012) - It was a big night at Loudoun Valley High School Friday as the Vikings inducted their latest Hall of Fame class and sophomore Andrew Cordani rushed for 227 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Vikings to a 43-14 Dulles District win over Heritage.

News: Loudoun Valley to Induct Newest Hall of Fame Members at Friday's Football Game

(Sept. 25, 2012) - Loudoun Valley High School will induct its newest members to the Vikings Hall of Fame Friday Sept. 28 with a reception at 4:30 p.m. in the cafeteria and then a ceremony at halftime of the varsity football game against Heritage.

News: Park View Hall of Fame Committee Seeks Nominations

(Jan. 31, 2012) - The Park View High School Hall of Fame Committee is looking for alumni or family members to submit possible future Hall of Fame nominees to the Park View Athletic Office.

They would like to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Park View past. The categories of nominations are:

Football: Park View to Induct Second Hall of Fame Class Friday Prior to Liberty Game

Sterling (Aug. 31, 2011) - Park View High School will induct its second Hall of Fame class at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2, before the Park View-Liberty football game.

A reception to honor the inductees, their friends and families will begin at 5 p.m. (The induction and reception will be held inside the school. The inductees and their families are encouraged to attend the football game where the inductees will be recognized on the field at halftime.)

News: Broad Run Debate Coach Ron Richards Among 2011 Virginia High School Hall of Fame Honorees Chosen

Charlottesville (July 8, 2011) - Broad Run High School debate coach Ron Richards is among 10 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to high school athletic and activity programs and have been selected to the 2011 Virginia High School Hall of Fame. News: Park View Establishes Athletic Hall of Fame, 20 to be Inducted on Sept. 24

Sterling (Sept. 2, 2010) - Park View High School announced Thursday that it has established an Athletic Hall of Fame to recognize and honor those Patriot athletes, coaches, administrators and supporters who excelled in their respective sports or coaching/support roles and who helped to bring honor, recognition, distinction and excellence to Park View by their conduct both on and off the field or court of competition.

Park View athletic director Joe Breinig Jr. said in a release that "this recognition will help maintain the spirit, pride and sense of community as well as serving as a historical account of the great athletic traditions of Park View High School."

The inaugural class induction will be Sept. 24, 2010 in the auditorium prior to the football game against Broad Run. A reception to honor the inductees and their families will begin at 5pm; the ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. At the conclusion of the ceremony everyone is encouraged to attend the football game where at halftime the nominees will be recognized on the field.

The selection for the inaugural class was made by a 10-person committee. Membership was open to all athletes, coaches, administrators and contributors who were at Park View HS the first 15 years of the school’s existence (1976-1991). The list of nominees is below:

News: Loudoun Valley to Induct William and Mary Football Coach Jimmye Laycock into the Viking Hall of Fame on Feb. 9

Purcellville (Feb. 1, 2010) - Loudoun Valley High School Proudly announces the induction of William and Mary Football Coach Jimmye Laycock into the Viking Athletic Hall of Fame. The induction will take place on Feb 9 during halftime of the Loudoun Valley vs. Stonewall Jackson Girls Basketball game.

Coach Laycock was not able to attend the induction ceremony this past fall due to his commitment to the William and Mary Football Program.

Laycock is from Hamilton and he earned 12 varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball at Loudoun Valley where his football jersey number was retired. Laycock was a three-time all-district quarterback and once completed 22 passes in one game. He graduated in 1966.
