(March 19, 2013) -Following a handful of stellar efforts in her first collegiate action for Frostburg State softball, freshman Renay Aubel was been named the Capital Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week on March 4. The Loudoun County High School grad posted a .500 on-base percentage, with three hits, four walks, two home runs, six RBIs and three runs scored as the Bobcats won three of four games at the Beach Blast in Virginia Beach this past weekend.
In FSU's 8-0 shutout victory over Wilkes, Aubel went 2-for-3 with five RBIs, a run scored and a three-run bomb in the third inning that handed the Bobcats a 5-0 lead.
