
(March 6, 2013) - The college scholarship offers are rolling in for a talented trio of Briar Woods High School football players that have helped the school to win three consecutive VHSL Division 4 state championships.
Junior quarterback Trace McSorley, 42-3 as a starter in three years, now has eight total offers after getting new offers from Western Michigan, Old Dominion and Vanderbilt. Previously he had offers from Boston College, North Carolina, UMass, UNC-Charlotte and Virginia Tech.
Junior linemen Jared Coker doubled his offers with two new ones as VMI and Old Dominion are vying for his talent. Previously he had offers from Bowling Green and UMass.
And sophomore wide receiver/defensive back Brandon Polk picked up an Old Dominion offer to go with previous offers from Maryland and Virginia Tech.
