Gymnastics: APEX Boys Successful at States

(March 20, 2013) - The Apex boys gymnastics team returned to Virginia beach over the weekend to  compete at this years State Meet and it was a successful trip as the entire team team qualified to Regionals.

In alphabetical order by level, the following "top ten" placements were earned.

Level 9
Nathan Clingman: tied 5th pommel, 9th p-bars, 7th high bar
Ian Sicking: tied 10th vault, 10th high bar

Level 8
Chase Clingman: tied 3rd floor, 2nd pommel, 8th rings, tied 9th vault, tied 2nd p-bars, tied 4th high bar, tied 5th all around
Logan Voegele: 3rd pommel, 9th rings, 8th vault, 9th high bar, 9th all around

Level 6
Tanner Collins: 8th floor, 8th vault, tied 4th p-bars, tied 5th high bar, 6th all-around
Lance Czarnecki: tied 9th floor, tied 9th vault, 4th high bar

Level 5
Colin Falgiano: 2nd floor, tied 8th pommel, tied 7th vault, tied 4th p-bars, 9th high bar, 7th all around
Ethan Kim: 2nd p-bars
Jack Osborne: tied 5th vault Jonah Vest: 5th p-bars
Alex Wren: 2nd rings, 10th vault, 4th high bar
Zachery Maisus: 9th pommel, tied 4th vault
