Youth Sports: Baseball - Diamond Elite Teams Bring Home Labor Day Hardware

(Sept. 7, 2012) - Diamond Elite baseball teams had a great Labor Day weekend, bringing home hardware in two local tournaments. 

The Diamond Elite 13U team (pictured in white) finished 4-0 over 2 weekends to win the Championship of the Inaugural USSSA Mountain State Classic, held in Charles Town, WV.

The Diamond Elite 13U Navy team (pictured in blue) finished Runner Up in the 13U Division of the Lumber Day tournament in Berryville, VA this past weekend. The Championship game was suspended and eventually ended due to lightning after 6 complete innings, with the Annandale Angels coming out on top by the score of 2-1.
