You Pick'Em Contest Week 4: 9 Fans out of 162 Go 10-0!

(Sept. 19, 2012) - We had nine out of 162 fans playing this week go a perfect 10-0 and that put our LoCo Experts to shame as the best score among the 11 media members was 8-2.

Going 10-0 for the fans: Out West (Purcellville), WVU FB (Martinsburg), Mr. Dubya (Sterling), Banner David (Purcellville), Weasel VT (Brambleton), Swift30 (Leesburg), OneEye (Sterling), Mtneer32 (Charles Town) and Spartan Pride (Ashburn).

So we went to the tiebreaker which was Potomac Falls' 23-20 overtime win vs. Heritage and we came up with ... co-winners! Both Spartan Pride and Banner David had the score at 27-20, off by just four points. The co-winners will get a Viva Loudoun one-of-a-kind t-shirt as well as a gift certificate from Roosters Men's Grooming Center of Goose Creek Village, good for a free haircut or shave!

As for the season-long standings, can we just say that we are now sending out Mtneer32 of Charles Town picks for performance enhancements as that fan has gone 10-0 in three of four weeks and is an incredible 38-2 on the year!

The LoCo Media Experts are led by Moe (As in I know Moe about football than you!) Murphy of the Loudoun Times-Mirror with a 34-6 record. That is one better than fellow LTM staffer Alanna Dvorak and Paul "Florida or Bust" Tenorio of The Washington Post (for this week at least!).

The LoCo Media Experts are playing not only for glory but the overall season winner will have $100 donated to their favorite charity!
