You Pick'Em: 168 Played Last Week ... and Only 1 Fan or Media Picker Went 10-0! Now Ain't That a "Gas"!

(Sept. 12, 2012) - It wasn't a pretty week for most of the fans and media in our high school football You Pick'Em contest. 157 fans and 11 media members bravely picked the 10 games and only one picker ... a fan (of course!) managed a 10-0 record.

That honor went to "Gas" of Sterling ... surely for this "Gas" it was a premium week! As the winner, the lucky fan will get a Viva Loudoun one-of-a-kind t-shirt as well as a gift certificate from Roosters Men's Grooming Center of Goose Creek Village, good for a free haircut or shave!

As for the season-long standings, we have three fans that already have a two-game cushion on the field with Boring of Leesburg, BWoods Champ 2010 of "Compton" and Mtneer32 of Charles Town all 28-2 on the year!

The LoCo Media Experts wish they had that record as Alanna Dvorak and Moe Murphy of the Loudoun Times-Mirror are both in first with 26-4 records. Matt Brooks and Paul Tenorio of the Washington Post and Carl Lukat of the Loudoun Times-Mirror are all one game back.

The LoCo Media Experts are playing not only for glory but the overall season winner will have $100 donated to their favorite charity!

Our fans are playing for an overall season prize of $100 to the winner (plus $100 to their favorite Loudoun high school) with second place netting $50 and third place $25.
