Fees for the season will be $115 for the first child and $105 additional siblings. Any registrations after Nov. 15 will be charged a $15 late fee with all registration closed by Dec. 7. Registration fee covers Northern Virginia Wrestling Federation registration, AAU registration, team t-shirt and team trophy.
Kids that have not wrestled before in the club will need to provide a copy of their birth certificate. More information:

Step 3. Spread the word and get ready for practice!
EQUIPMENT:
Wrestlers must provide their own:
- Wrestling shoes…..to be worn only on the mats at practice and meets, never on the street ( if needed, the club does have a supply of used wrestling shoes to borrow for the season)
- Head gear (required for all wrestlers at meets)
The Club provides a team singlet which must be used only for wrestling matches (not practice) and must be turned in at the end of the season.
MEETS AND TOURNAMENTS:
The first NVWF meet will take place in early December 2012 (followed by holiday hiatus), with regular weekly meets running January through late February 2013. For a complete schedule, check the Northern Virginia Wrestling Federation (NVWF) website athttp://www.nvwf.net/ . Wrestlers are matched by age, weight and experience level. At each meet, wrestlers usually participate in 3 matches. The season wraps-up with a final, double-elimination tournament at the end of February, 2013.
REQUIRED PARENT VOLUNTEERING:
As always we require families to volunteer their time to the club. Each family will be required to work the score tables at the tournaments two to three times. There will be a volunteer sign up within the first week of practice once the schedule is posted. In the event you or your wrestler determines that they will not compete, we will still need you to volunteer. The coaches volunteer their time to the sport and the children and we need everyone to support the club. In addition, we would like to invite Team Family members who would like to coach or assist the coaches at practices and tournaments to contact Coach Gordon (gordonmariataylor@verizon.net or gtaylor@spinemd.com), Coach Don ( Donald@dotcombreakthroughs.com ) or Coach Mike(michaelfroelich@hotmail.com ). Please get the word out about the Sterling Wrestling Club. We are always looking to grow the club!

This year there will be Elementary Practices at Potomac Falls High School twice a week, Elementary Practices at Broad Run High School twice a week and Middle School Practice at Dominion High School two times a week and once a week at Broad Run High School. We are looking forward to a great season!
