(Sept. 5, 2012) - The Good Shepherd Alliance (GSA), which serves the homeless and those living in poverty in Northern Virginia, will hold its 8th annual Walk for Shelter on Sept. 15 in Leesburg.
The family event will include entertainment, children's activities and food provided by Common Ground Church of Leesburg and Christ Community Church of Ashburn. The event starts at 10 a.m. with a 9 a.m. sign-in.
The one-mile walk will be through historic downtown Leesburg, starting at the Douglass Community Center on 407 E. Market St.. Lunch and activities start at 11 a.m. Registration and sponsorship forms here. For more information call 703.724-1555 or visit www.goodshepherdalliance.org.
