News: All-Day Fundraiser for Ryan Diviney Set for Dec. 17

(Dec. 6, 2011)- An all-day fundraiser for Ryan Diviney, an Ashburn resident who remains comatose after a brutal beating in November, 2009 while attending college, will be held on Saturday Dec.r 17 at the Mediterranean Breeze and Sports Bar in Herndon.


The fundraiser, “Let Your Voice Be Heard for Ryan Diviney,” will begin at 11 a.m. with balloon art and face painting for the kids, baked goods and home/holiday items for sale, plus early bidding on silent auction items.

A percentage of restaurant sales throughout the entire event will go to Ryan.

In the evening, there will be a regular raffle with prizes of gift cards, cash, electronics, and other items, along with a 50/50 raffle, and announcement of the silent auction winners. Prizes include but are not limited to signed NFL merchandise, themed gift baskets, exercise equipment and more.

Karaoke begins at 7:00 p.m. “Let Your Voice Be Heard” invites you and your family to come and support Ryan and his family.

If you are unable to attend but would like to help/ send a donation, checks should be made payable to The Ryan Diviney Special Needs Trust and mailed to:

Raffle Prize and Silent Auction Items are still being accepted and are very much appreciated. They can be dropped off/mailed to the same address but must be received by Dec. 12. Please include your name/company name so proper credit can be given at the event.
