Final: Stone Bridge wins 4-0!
74th minute: Jessie Klamut just misses as Cox presses to avoid the shutout. SB has subbed out most of its starters
54th minute: Harmison makes a great save on a breakaway to preserve SB shutout.
50th minute: The SB girls have now avenged the boys score from the first game as Murielle Tiernan plays a beautiful ball back across the 18 where a wide open Melissa Rodriquez scores. 4-0!
48th minute: Emily Fredrikson plays in a free kick that the Cox keeper muffs and Ashley Herndon -- killer menatilty -- pokes the ball away and in the net for a 3-0 Stone Bridge lead. Herndon's school record 27th goal of the season.
42nd minute: Bulldogs come out a knocking ... shot wide right

38th minute: Tiernan's shot goes wide as SB is pushing to make it 3-0 prior to the half
36th minute: SB's Jennifer Skogerboe gives it a go from 20 yards out but the ball is stopped by the Cox keeper
31st minute: Lauren Muncy long free kick in is saved by SB keep Harmison.
25th minute: Cook's shot for Cox is long. Play has been mostly in the middle of he field as Cox has settle down after SB shocked them with the quick 2-goal lead.
8th minute: Stone Bridge now up 2-0! Murielle Tiernan has an amazing shot as she twists and beats the keeper to the near post from about six yards out.
7th minute: Meredith Corner of Cox almost equalizes but Harmison deflects her shot from nearly point blank.
4th minute: Bulldogs strike first! Super freshman Ashley Herndon scores on ball played in by junior midfielder Mallory Corpe . The Falcons keeper was a bit slow to come field the bounding ball and the speedy Herndon was able to poke it away with her head and then she finished it by blasting the ball from the doorstep into the net. 1-0 Stone BRidge.
3rd minute: Cox long free kick bounces and SB keeper Harmison has to clear it up and over ... you know, out of harm's way.
Girls game: Cox vs. Stone Bridge has started

Final Boys: Cox 4, Stone Bridge 0 ... undefeated Falcons face Battlefield Sat. in finals.

73 minute: Both teams go to the bench. Nice touch by SB coach Randy May as he is getting in some seniors that have not played much this season.
67th minute That quick counterattack goes all the way and Cox scores to make it 4-0 with Alex Royo scoring ... another goal where a great pass leads to a player in stride and just onsides ... very well oiled offensive machine for Cox. A team that has trailed only once all season.
66th minute: SB long throwin results in a CK but when Cox clears they counter in a hurry
53rd minute: Cox is punching its ticket to a second straight state title as Byrnes makes a lovely cross that a streaking Paul Braunstein heads in at the far post ... nothing Lowrey could do to save. Play was set up when Byrnes made a nifty one-on-one move to free up an unabated cross.
52nd minute: Oakes pass for Cox finds Byrnes to the right of the six but Lowrey saves
47th minute: Shaban free kick from the center stripe sails to the left of the net
46th minute: Eckert of Cox gets a Yellow Card after body checking Dunne into a water cooler on the Cox bench. Some official could have pulled a red for such a play but the yellow is probably fair.
43rd minute: Lowrey collects a Cox shot at the near post
41st minute: SB has a chance early with a Dunne throw into the six but foul called on SB prior to cleaning up a loose ball.

38th minute: Ellis gives it a go from distance but is high, less than 2 to go before half.
37th minute: Another long Shaban free kick earns a CK, two headers, nothing serious, can't find the net for SB
36th minute: SB shows some great passing combinations but can't get a shot on goal.
32nd minute: some confusion in the back for SB as Bulldogs give up a soft goal to make it 2-0 Cox. Appears that the defensive backline might have been able to clear the ball but David Ellis gets the goal by poking a foot onto it and it clears a charging Lowrey and bounds into the goal. Cox is showing great speed on the flanks and the playing crossing balls back that are beating the Bulldog defense but this goal came up the middle.
29th minute: Drew Hartell of Cox gets a yellow card after several rough plays
26th minute: Cox tests Lowrey again and he pushes another ball just over the crossbar for a CK
24th minute: Sousa slips into the 18 and has some daylight and lets fly a rocket that sails just over the crossbar
23rd minute: SB long free kick by Shaban finds head of Michael Morningstar in the six but his header goes onto the top of the net
15th minute: Chris Albiston's scorcher of a shot from 30 yards for Cox from a cleared CK is about to find the upper 90 when Lowrey makes a leaping save to tip the ball over the crossbar. Second great save for the SR keep this half.
10th minute: SB keeper Nick Lowrey makes a great save to keep the game at 1-0 Cox
8th minute: Mikey Herndon cross is collected by Cox keeper Nankervis
6th minute: SB earns a CK off a long Shaban free kick. Ball plays through the box and headed back into traffic by Cooper Sousa but Cox clears ... Cox starts an experience senior defensive line
2nd minute - The worse thing for SB, Cox has scored already. With Hunter Byrnes finishing a header after passes from Eric Bird and Zac Eckert. 1-0 Cox
1st minute -long throw by SB's Tommy Dunne is cleared away and Cox counterattacks immediately with a 2-on-1 stopped by central back Abdul Shaban
