College Signing: Louodun Valley's Phipps to Play Volleyball at Northern Alabama

(Apr. 15, 2010) - Loudoun Valley High School held a signing ceremony Wednesday afternoon for senior Lindsey Phipps, who will play NCAA Division II volleyball next year at Northern Alabama.

The Florence, Ala. school plays in the Gulf Coast Conference and went 20-15 in 2009, falling in the first round of the NCAA Division II tournament. The Lions won an NCAA Division II national title in 2003 and national runner-up in 2006.
