Team Joe Charities was formed in 2007 to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children.  The namesake of our charity, Joe Petrella, was born 12 weeks early, and weighed only 1.5 pounds.  He spent 104 days in the NICU where the wonderful, caring staff helped save Joe's life.  He's now a healthy, happy, normal 4 year old!  To date, Team Joe Charities has raised $125,000 for the NICU.  This money will help fund the completion of a family lounge that will be part of the new NICU that will be built by Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children.  Please help us raise even more money for this outstanding facility and the amazing staff that helps care for many of the high risk births throughout Northern Virginia.
