News: Special Prosecutor Appointed to Investigate Complaint Against Supervisor Delgaudio

(Nov. 9, 2012) - Loudoun Commonwealth's Attorney Jim Plowman requested the Circuit Court on Thursday to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate a complaint made by a former legislative aide to Loudoun County Supervisor Eugene Delgaudio.

The request was based on additional material provided to the Commonwealth's Attorney by the County Attorney that had not previously been reviewed. The Court appointed Theophani Stamos, the Commonwealth'™s Attorney for Arlington County, who has agreed to undertake the assignment.
