(May 18, 2011) - The Freedom High School boys and girls top tennis doubles teams advance to the Dulles District finals with early morning victories today at the Ida Lee Recreation Center.
With a 7 a.m. start, the Freedom girls came from behind against Potomac Falls to win 2-6, 6-3, 7-5. The Eagles will face a powerful Woodgrove duo which advanced with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Dominion.
On the boys side, Freedom defeated Tuscarora 6-0,6-1 and Dominion defeated Broad Run 6-4,7-5.
Both finals matches will begin at 2 PM at the indoor facility at Ida Lee park in Leesburg.
