Football: Broad Run's Tyler LaFollette Signs to Play at Fairmont State; Junior Jackson Matteo Gets Offer from Bryant

(Apr. 5, 2011) - Broad Run High School senior Tyler LaFollette has signed his letter of intent to play next year at NCAA Division II Fairmont State.

The 5-foot-11, 215-pound center/defensive lineman helped the Spartans make it to the regional title game in 2010 after back-to-back state titles the previous two years.

The West Virginia schools has an enrollment of 4,611 and plays in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference where they have won 15 conference titles over the years.


In other recruiting news for the Spartans, junior lineman Jackson Matteo has received his first NCAA Division I offer, from Bryant University. Matteo is a 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect.
