Cross Country: Broad Run Senior Zac Kish to Run XC and Track at New York University

(Jan. 31, 2011) - Broad Run High School senior Zac Kish will run cross country and compete for the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at NCAA Division III New York University next year.

Kish ran a 17:11 (10th place overall) at the Dulles District cross country meet in the fall to help Broad Run qualify for the Region II meet for the first time ever.

New York University posted its fifth-straight top-20 national finish after claiming 10th place at the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship race at the Max Cross Country Course in Waverly, IA, on Nov. 20. The Violets compete in the University Athletic Association
along with Brandeis University, Carnegie Mellon University, Case Western Reserve University, Emory University, University of Chicago, University of Rochester and Washington University in St. Louis.
