Girls Soccer: Freedom Junior Cortney O'Connell Verbally Commits to NCAA Division I Miami

(Sept. 15, 2011) - Freedom High School junior Cortney O'Connell has verbally committed to playing NCAA Division I soccer at the University of Miami starting in 2013-14.

O'Connell was first team all Dulles District as a freshman and second all-district last year. She plays club soccer for the Bethesda Freedom 94/95 squad that made it to the finals of the U.S. Youth Soccer Region I Championships in July.
