Gymnastics: APEX Crowns at State Champion

(April 20, 2013) - APEX Level 7 gymnast, Ashley Wilkins, was crowned the Level 7 state champion on balance beam at the state championships held in Hampton, VA on April 6 and 7. Gymnasts from all over the state competed with a total of over 600 competitors and 55 teams. The APEX level 7 team finished 9th in the state!

APEX Level 6s had a strong showing as well led by strong all around performances by Ellie Wooten and McKenna Magoffin. The level 6 team finished 13th in team competition out of the 30 teams competing for state titles. Congratulations to all of the gymnasts. Top 10 finishes are listed below:
