Track and Field: Wolverine Invitational Cancelled

(April 19, 2013) - Today was to be one of the highlights of the track and field season with 12 of 13 Loudoun schools scheduled to compete at the Woodgrove High School invitational in Purcellville but the threat of strong storms this afternoon as forced cancellation of the meet.

Wolverine athletic director Rusty Lowery: "Given the overwhelming forecast, the distance that many teams must travel and the block of time needed to complete the meet, I am sorry to inform you that we have had to make a decision to call off today's track meet. Hopefully, in the future we can catch a break."
