(Feb. 28, 2013) - The Loudoun County Sheriff'™s Office continues to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred earlier today in the 34900 block of Sunny Ridge Road in Round Hill, Virginia.
Deputies were called to the scene shortly before 11 a.m. for a report of an adult female who was the victim of a gunshot wound. She lost her life at the scene.
Information regarding the identity of the victim has not been released at this time pending notification of next of kin. All parties involved in the incident remained at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation and there remains no threat to the community.
