(Sept. 13, 2012) - The Loudoun County School Board got its first look at a staff-proposed student calendar for the 2013-2014 school year during its Tuesday, September 11th, meeting.
The School Board would like to receive public input on the proposed calendar at lcsb@lcps.org.
The School Board is scheduled to adopt the 2013-2014 student calendar at its October 9th meeting.
Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) has lost its waiver under Section 22.1-79.1 of the Code of Virginia – otherwise known as the “Kings Dominion Law” – which means it cannot open school before Labor Day in 2013.
