Football: Tuscarora Sophomore QB Chris Riddle Making Headlines

Leesburg (July 30, 2012) - As varsity football starts with tryouts this week around Loudoun County plenty of storylines will emerge at the 13 area public high schools. At Tuscarora High School, all eyes will be on sophomore quarterback Chris Riddle who made plenty of headlines during the offseason including being ranked the Class of 2015 No. 2 signal caller from the Southeast Region by 5-Star Quarterback Competition.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Riddle still has some growing to do with his grandfather standing 6-7. Riddle, who played for the Stone Bridge High School freshman team last year, is at Tuscarora this season after his family moved in February to the Huskies district.

Riddle's busy offseason has included:

*A personal invite by head coachoach Frank Spaziani to workout, meet the coaches and tour the campus at Boston College
*Invited to the Rivials.com Top Prospect Elite Camp, hosted by National Underclassmen Combine, at the University of Oklahoma. He will compete with the top twenty 2015 quarterbacks in the country
*Invited to the CBSSports/247Sports/Junior Rank Prodigy Camp in Naples Florida. The top prospects in the country have been invited to this camp and the event will be aired to over 9 million viewers.
