(Aug. 16, 2011) - Casey Cummings, rising senior center at Loudoun County High School, has verbally accepted a scholarship to attend NCAA Division I St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, NY. St Francis competes in the Northeast Conference.
Cummings averaged 10.8 points and 12.7 rebounds as a junior for the 26-5 Raiders in 2010-11. She played AAU basketball this summer for the Potomac Valley Vogues 11th Grade National Team and is the 4th member of the Vogues to verbally accept a Division 1 scholarship. The Vogues finished 3rd at the AAU National Tournament in Orlando, FL in July.
