Field Hockey: Loudoun Field Hockey Association Registration Opens, New Fields for Fall

(Aug. 8, 2011) - Loudoun Field Hockey Association is gearing up for another season and excited to announce new fields for the fall including Bermuda grass at Bolen Park in Leesburg and turf at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville.

Registration is open for U14 Travel and recreational divisions in East, South and Western Loudoun in grade divisions: 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and High School.

League organizer Lisa Craig: "This year most of the high schools have established official clubs at the schools and it will be an exciting season with all of their games playing on premium turf fields. Our league is open to all playing levels, and encourages those new to field hockey to try it out. We also host recreational and competitive adult leagues to support and promote the sport throughout Loudoun."
