Boys Lacrosse: Freedom's Will Walters Selected to High School All-American Team

(Oct. 13, 2011) - Freedom High School senior attack Will Walter was selected to the National Lacrosse Classic High School All-American team over the summer.

Walter was the only Loudoun public high school rep at the Classic, formerly the Adidas National Lacrosse Classic, held in Washington, D.C. on July 5-8. Walters' regional team made it to the finals before losing to a strong Rochester, N.Y., squad. Walters scored one of his team's four goals in the finals.

Also selected was goalie Sam Beazell of Potomac Falls who plays for Paul VI.
