Swim: Broad Run Grad Mark Sarman Earns All-American Honors in 100 Fly and 200 IM

(July 27, 2011) - Broad Run High School recent grad Mark Sarman has earned All-American honors for his high school senior season as his times in the 100 fly and 200 IM were among the top 100 times in the nation.

Sarman clocked 50.12 in the 100 fly to tie for 75th overall and he swam the 200 IM in 1:52.61 to tie for 88th overall. Sarman will swim for Georgia Tech this coming school year.

Swim: Broad Run Senior Mark Sarman Verbally Commits to Georgia Tech

 Mark Sarman: Future Swimming "Yellow Jacket"

Ashburn (Oct. 19, 2010) - Broad Run High School record-breaking senior Mark Sarman has verbally committed to swim next year for NCAA Division I Georgia Tech.

Sarman holds the school records in the 200 IM, 100 fly, 100 breaststroke as well as a member of three record-setting relays: 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free.

He won three gold medals at states last season and is undefeated in district competition in his career.
