College Corner: Loudoun County Grad Sammy Dormio with Career High 32 Digs

Editor's note: Our College Corner editor Noelle Dormio asked us if anybody would care if she ran a post on her daughter Sammy and we said ... you better run it! We loved watching Sammy play at Loudoun County and aren't surprised she is finding success on the college level .. now let's hear from a proud mom:

(Sept 5, 2012) - Loudoun County High School grad Sammy Dormio had a career high 32 digs for NCAA Division III Keene State College volleyball team against Westfield, Mass.  

Keene State graduated almost all of the starting line up from the previous year except for Dormio, a sophomore and the starting libero. This year's team consists of freshman and sophmores with 2 juniors and no seniors.  Keene State coach Bob Weiner said "It is a rebuild year for Keene State but the future looks very promising".
