College Corner: Briar Woods Grad Chelsea Kaser 2nd Team All Conference for D3 Muhlenberg College

(Nov 14, 2012) - Briar Woods High School grad Chelsea Kaser made 2nd Team All Conference for NCAA DIII Muhlenberg College Centennial Conference Volleyball Team.  Kaser was a standout on defense. The libero is sixth in the CC in digs per set (4.08) and was well on her way to breaking the school record for digs by a freshman before getting sidelined for the last four matches of the season. Kaser topped the CC with an average of 4.68 digs in league matches.

Kaser reached double figures in digs in all but four of her 24 matches and recorded at least 20 digs five times, with a high of 25 in a five-set match vs. DeSales. Her total of 343 digs tied for 15th on the program’s single-season list, and she also led Muhlenberg with 37 aces.

 Way to go Chelsea!  I for one can never get enough Volleyball and will be unhappy until the season next year.  You might just find me at a club tournament this season to get my volleyball fix.  See you soon! Noelle
