Leesburg (Jan. 18, 2013) - Loudoun County High School senior lineman Trey Taylor has committed to continue his football career at Alderson Broaddus College in Phillipi, WV next fall. The senior offensive guard and defensive tackle was a 3-year starter on the Raiders varsity team and was named 2nd team All Dulles District in 2013.
Described as a "quiet leader" by Raider Athletic Director Ken Wright, Taylor served as a captain the past two years and is an officer in the Raider Athletic Club for 2013.
The Battlers renewed their football program in 2012 for the first time since 1930. Playing an independent schedule, they went 9-2 and will join the NCAA Division II for the 2013 season.
Wright: "LCHS is very proud of Trey Taylor ... his hard work and leadership have paid off for him. As great a player as Trey is, he is an even better person, and we are just very proud he is a Raider!"
