Baseball: Loudoun County SR Ethan Carlyon to Play at D3 Denison University in Ohio

Leesburg (Jan. 24, 2013) - Loudoun County High School athletic director Ken Wright announced this week that Raider senior Ethan Carlyon has committed to Denison University to continue his baseball career.

Denison, located in Granville Ohio, is a member of the highly competitive North Coast Athletic Conference, and competes at the NCAA Division III level. Denison traces its baseball roots back to 1890.


Wright: "Ethan is a standout player that brings a lethal bat along with his knowledge of the game. He was recognized for this by being named all district last year (2nd team) at first base. Ethan also was a captain of the football team and was named all district as a senior for his accomplishments on the gridiron."
