Football: Stone Bridge and Broad Run DECA Holding Food Drive as Part of Battle of the Burn

Ashburn (Sept. 20, 2012) - The Stone Bridge and Broad Run high school DECA clubs have linked up to host a food drive as part of Friday's big Battle of the Burn football game. A raffle ticket with be given for every can of food donated at the game.

News: Broad Run High School is Getting "Pink'd" for Loudoun Breast Health Network Fundraiser

Ashburn (Sept. 12, 2012) - Are you ready to get Pink'd? The Broad Run High School DECA students are holding their annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign in October to create understanding among students and the community.

The grand finale of the week long campaign will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012,  at the home football game between Broad Run and Patriot High School. The community is invited to come out for a great game and help support a great cause.

News: Dominion Has Successful State DECA Conference

(April 27, 2012) - Dominion High School recently had a very successful DECA state conference in Norfolk. (DECA is an association of marketing students.)

Seventy-eight students from Dominion attended and 33 were recognized on stage for their achievements in their competitive event. Twenty-seven Dominion students will be advancing on to the International Career Development Conference April 28th through May 1st in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is the largest group ever from Dominion High School to attend the state conference and the largest number of competitors for Dominion advancing to the international conference.

Ice Hockey: Broad Run DECA to Raise Funds for Brain Injury Services at Spartan vs. Falcon Rivalry Match

(Dec. 6, 2011) - Broad Run High School DECA will be raising awareness and funds for Brain Injury Services at the Spartans ice hockey rivalry match Sunday Dec. 11 against Briar Woods. The Spartans and Falcons drop the puck at 8:10 p.m. at the Ashburn Ice House with free admission.

DECA will have a table set up and there will be a 50-50 raffle to raise funds. Also, 15 percent of the proceeds from food and drink purchases at Pomodoro located at the Ice House. Brain Injury Services helps those with traumatic brain injuries.
