(Mar. 17, 2011) - On Freedom High School girls lacrosse team will host a LAX for the Cure game against rival Briar Woods on March 24.
The girls will be wearing pink shirts in honor of breast cancer awareness. Anyone may bid (silent auction style) on the shirts starting at the beginning of the JV game through the first half of the varsity game. During halftime of the varsity game the highest bidder of each jersey will be announced and will come down to donate their money to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

(Apr. 29, 2010) - The Loudoun Valley High School girls lacrosse team isn’t just “netting” goals that win games this season, they are “netting” huge donations to support a great cause.
