Football: Heritage SR's Ahmad Richardson, Darrell Kendrick to Play at Alderson-Broaddus Next Year

(March 19, 2013) - Heritage High School celebrated last week the signing of two seniors, Ahmad Richardson and Darrell Kendrick, to play football next year at NCAA Division II Alderson-Broaddus College in West Virginia. Alderson-Broaddus will play its first varsity football season in over 80 years this fall.

The return of football for the Battlers started in 2012 with a JV schedule and a roster made up mostly of freshman. A-B went 9-2 setting stage for 2013.

Kendrick played outside linebacker and fullback for the Pride. Richardson played outside linebacker as well and was the punter for the Pride.
