Football: Dominion Assistant Coach Gets Invite to Elite QB Competition

(June 26, 2013) - Dominion High School football offensive coordinator Paul Troth has been invited to coach in the Elite 11 Quarterback in Beaverton, Ore., June 28-July 3. Troth will be coaching the top 18 quarterbacks from around the nation while they compete in the made-for-TV event, led by ESPN’s Trent Dilfer.


Troth who also owns his own personal quarterback training company was recently hired by Dilfer to be the Mid-Atlantic regional coach for his Quarterback Company TDFB. Currently Troth has trained one player selected to the competition, Florida commit and 2013 participant Will Grier. He was named the N.C. Gatorade player of the year in 2012 after throwing for 5,785 yards and 69 touchdowns, both state records.
