News: Make-up Information

Well ... you don't have to be Bob Ryan's younger brother to know that all high school events Friday and Saturday are snowed out in Loudoun. Here is make-up info. as sent in by the schools

From Park View (good overview of district events)
ALL GAMES AND PRACTICES FOR Friday AND Saturday FEB. 5TH AND 6TH HAVE BEEN CANCELLED!!!

The college signing ceremonies for Brandon Lee, Tommy Sedeski and Robert Hayes has been cancelled for Friday Feb. 5th. We will make this event up next week - date TBA.

The LCPS Coaches Seminar scheduled for Monday Feb. 8th at LCHS has been cancelled - make up date TBA.

District Swimming at Claude Moore
-Has been cancelled for tomorrow night - make up date is TBA, but we are looking at Tuesday Feb. 9th. Once we get a definite I will let you know.

District Gymnastics at Briar Woods
-Has been cancelled for Saturday and moved to Wednesday Feb. 10th - time table below
3:00 - Teams arrive (girls team locker rooms available)
3:15 - Coaches Meeting
3:30 - Open Stretch
3:45 to 5:30 - Timed Warm-ups (12 minute blocks w/ 3 minutes to rotate)
5:45 - March-in/Opening
6:00 - Meet Begins
10:00 - Awards Ceremony (after clean-up)

District Forensics at Potomac Falls
-Has been cancelled for Saturday and moved to Saturday Feb. 13th (same times)

Region Academic at Charlottesville
-Has been cancelled for Saturday and moved to Saturday Feb. 13th (same times)

Boys and Girls Basketball - Friday night Feb. 5th vs Briar Woods
-Has been cancelled and moved to Monday night Feb. 8th (same times and locations)


From Broad Run High School:
Broad Run Basketball Games vs Freedom scheduled for tomorrow (Friday 2/5) have been postponed until Monday 2/8 (weather permitting)

From Loudoun County High School


Basketball games on Friday 2/5/2010 vs. Dominion are postponed to Monday 2/8/2010.
LCHS vs. Loudoun Valley on Monday 2/8/2010 is now CANCELED and WILL NOT BE MADE UP.

From Freedom High School
GIRLS BASKETBALL vs. Broad Run will now be played Monday, February 8 (6,6, 7:30). The game is at Freedom. Youth night will moved to Monday as well if Mercer Basketball League is available.
-The Freshmen and JV basketball games vs. Stone Bridge scheduled for Monday, February 8 are canceled.

BOYS BASKETBALL @ Broad Run will now be played Monday, February 8 (6,6, 7:30).

From Heritage High School:
Make-ups will be updated Sunday evening 2/7/10

From Stone Bridge High School:
In the event that the Friday games with Fairfax are canceled, makeup date will be Wednesday, February 10th. If the games are moved to Wednesday, the girls Senior Night will take place on that Wednesday.

Other schools have not reported to VivaLoudoun (jeesh!)
