News: Cedar Run District/Northwest Region Make-up Information

(Feb. 9, 2010) - Here is information on remaining Cedar Run District and Northwest Region winter events that have been postponed due to the recent weather.

Gymnastics: Northwest Region meet on as schedule this Sat. at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas. If not, then it will be held Mon. Feb. 15. All teams may attend as some district meet have not been held.

Wrestling: Northwest Region meet may be held Sat. and Sun. Feb. 13-14 at Colonial Forge. Loudoun would have to approve Sunday play for athletes to attend. Prince William County has dones this already. This may be a 32-team meet as many district meets were not held.

Swim: The Northwest Region meet, scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to Mon. Feb. 15 at Radford University, starting at noon.

Basketball: While some districts are postponing the rest of the regular season, the Cedar Run is finishing. Heritage will finish with boys (away) and girls (home) vs. Battlefield on Feb. 15 and then boys (home) and girls (away) vs. Osbourn on Feb. 16. Loudoun Valley will finish with the boys (away) and girls (home) vs. Stonewall Jackson on Feb. 15 and boys (home) and girls (away) vs. Battlefield on Feb. 16. The Cedar Run district tournament would then start withe the semifinals on Fri. Feb. 19. with the finals on Sat. Feb. 20.

Theater: Wed. Feb. 17 at Battlefield High School 4 p.m.

Forensics: Wed. Feb. 17 at Stonewall Jackson High School at 5 p.m.
